Frequently Asked Questions about the Payroll Solution
What if I already have my status as an independent worker?
You can maintain your status as an independent worker if you wish. However, some companies may not be able to hire you as an independent contractor. The value of the work is more important than the status. According to the OCAS contract, if you work from home using your own equipment and on your own schedule, you are considered independent. However, if you're asked to work with a company's equipment and schedule, you must have an employee status. Amplo Swiss by Luxan can help you work within the company in such cases.
If I'm a musician and I play at a wedding?
Legally, you must be employed by the couple getting married, and they are required to pay your social contributions. If you go through Amplo Swiss by Luxan, we will establish a contract with the couple and issue an invoice at the end of your performance. We also raise awareness among artists about contributing to their retirement from the start of their careers.
